There’s something about growing up that makes everyone get so serious.
Lucy is often thinking about sincerity, shared oddities, and whether pigeons know something we don’t. She’s interested in themes of play, interaction, reflection, and time travel. Her practice builds in layers, like sediment, or memory, occasionally interrupted by dramatic readings or unexpectedly emotional karaoke. She has exhibited at Gallery 115, including pigeon S*@$, a duo installation exploring abandonment, anthropocentrism, and the absurd.
